Better technology means better overall care
Dentists are able to capture a complete view of the upper and lower jaws, teeth, temporomandibular joints and sinuses by using the Panorex imaging machinery. Because the Panorex can take a 360-degree picture of the teeth, head, sinuses and bones, dentists are able to identify issues and structures that a normal X-ray can't.
The patient sits in a chair with their chin rests on a small ledge. The Panorex rotates around the patient's entire head while taking a 360-degree picture. The dentist gains a tremendous amount of information by being able to view the full structure of the head. It allows the dentist to see any potential problems and make sure everything is functioning as it should.
The Panorex also is capable of viewing specific types of structural problems and infections.
